Manfred Mann?s Earth BandGegründet wurde Manfred Mann?s Earth Band 1971, seitdem ist die Band um ihren Namensgeber am Keyboard nicht mehr aus der Rockszene wegzudenken. Seine Hits und Interpretationen verschiedener Künstler von Bruce Springsteen bis Bob Marley sind zeitlos und haben die Jahrzehnte bestens überstanden: ?Blinded by The Light?, ?Spirits In The Night?, ?Davy?s On The Road Again?, ?Redemption Song?, ?For You? und auch ?Mighty Quinn? haben ihr eigenes Leben entfaltet und sind auf dem Album ?Budapest Live? von 1984 in großartigen Fassungen vertreten. Nach einer kurzen Pause Anfang der Neunziger ist Manfred Mann?s Earth Band weiter live aktiv, zum Beispiel konnte die Band als Special Guest des einzigen (und nach dem Tod von Glenn Frey auch letzten) Deutschland-Konzerts der Eagles in Vechta im Juni 2014 begeistern.
