This damping resists speed at the ingoing and outgoing stroke just as seen in real clutch assemblies. The amount of damping is adjustable.A loadcell provides a true linear input measurement of the pedal position. Custom non-linear output curves can freely be configured using Heusinkveld SmartControl software.ElectronicsHeusinkeld Sim Pedals Ultimate+ use a custom made 12-bit USB controller, which works with Heusinkveld SmartControl software. After calibration every single pedal provides an output signal using the full 12-bit range, providing instant and accurate output to your favorite simulator software. The controller enclosure is made of steel and is equipped with 4 mounting holes for easy mounting to your simulator. It can also be mounted to the underside of the optional Sim Pedals Ultimate+ Baseplate. The pedals have passed full EMC compliance testing, guaranteeing a stable output signal regardless of other electronic components used in your simulator. The Sim Pedals Ultimate+ come with a powerful configuration tool allowing you to set up your pedals in ways not previously possible: SmartControl. Working together with all-new electronics, SmartControl allows for instant mapping of (non-linear) pedal output curves, pedal deadzones and brake pedal force. These adjustments can be made without having to recalibrate the pedals (including iRacing). All settings can be saved into profiles, which can be loaded again in a few mouse clicks.Mapping pedal output curvesA key feature of SmartControl is the ability to set custom signal output maps per pedal. Traditionally race simulator pedal output has had a one-on-one sensitivity in relation to the pedal input. SmartControl allows you to map non-linear output curves using 5 zones (six input parameters). Each pedal has a Curve Type pull-down menu with pre-defined output curves. You can also select the option to make a custom curve and manually set the desired pedal output percentage for each zone. You have complete freedom to set your own shapes.Deadzones and brake force adjustmentSmartControl offers quick and easy adjustment of pedal deadzones. The effect of changing these adjustments can be seen visually and realtime. Also the required brake force to get 100% brake output in your simulator can be set in a few mouse clicks.ProfilesThere is support for an unlimited amount of profiles within SmartControl. Saving and loading a profile is done in a few mouse clicks. Because profile data is saved relative to your calibration values, it is possible to exchange pedal profiles between Sim Pedals Ultimate+ owners.Calibration wizardYour Sim Pedals Ultimate+ are pre-calibrated during assembly and can be used as a plug&play device. All adjustments in SmartControl can be made without having to recalibrate the pedals. In case you do need to recalibrate (for example after making certain mechanical adjustments to the pedals), SmartControl has an easy to follow calibration wizard.

Engineered for handling the intensity of enduro racing, this high-quality suspension fork is part of the distinguished Performance Elite series which includes the same adjustments, features, dampers, weight, and 7000 series aluminium upper tubes as Factory Series. The difference is this model's upper tubes feature a hard-wearing anodised finish, which offers fantastic protection against corrosion during wet riding conditions. Fox Suspension has also kitted out this version with Boost axle spacing, making it ideal for modern enduro racing as it delivers additional stiffness as you dominate your way from the top of the mountain to the bottom. To top it off, it comes complete with a lightweight Float EVOL air spring and a GRIP2 damper with dual Variable Valve Control (VVC) for a wide range of tuneability. Packing the same revolutionary feature set as the 36 model, the 38 redefines what you think a long travel single crown fork is capable of, and sets a new benchmark for confidence, performance, and durability. Welcome to the big time. GRIP2 Damper with Dual Variable Valve Control (VVC) Fox Suspension's GRIP2 damper is the benchmark for unparalleled ride quality and ultra-precise adjustability. GRIP2 includes the brand's patented Variable Valve Control (VVC) technology which allows for external fine-tuning of suspension performance. GRIP2 achieves with the twist of a knob what typically requires the time-consuming and complicated task of completely disassembling and reassembling the fork. Enduro Fork with Float EVOL Air Spring EVOL technology increases negative air spring volume, optimizing small bump sensitivity. EVOL’s linear spring curve delivers plushness off the top, extra mid-stroke support, and more tuneable bottom-out progression. The benefits of EVOL are further enhanced by Fox Suspension's Lower Leg channels and Bleeders, which both function to reduce air pressure captured in the lower legs, allowing the EVOL air spring to operate freely without unintended interference. Technologies: Performance Elite Series: Performance Elite forks retain the same adjustments, features, dampers, weight, and 7000 series aluminum upper tubes as Factory Series, but have black anodized stanchions instead of Genuine Kashima Coat. Adjustments: High-speed compression (with VVC) 8 clicks. Low-speed compression 16 clicks. High-speed rebound (with VVC) 8 clicks. Low-speed rebound 16 clicks. Floating Axle: Floating axles might look similar to other axles, but in fact they offer a distinct performance advantage due to their unique ability to match the exact width of the fork’s wheel mounting surface precisely to the front hub flange spacing, thus creating perfect chassis alignment and eliminating unwanted friction between the upper and lower fork legs. Floating axles provide much smoother suspension movement throughout the entire range of the fork’s travel, notably improving sensitivity and overall ride quality. The all-new 36 and 38 come equipped with a new quick-release lever-operated patent-pending floating axle system, combining the benefit of a floating axle with the ease of a tool-free quick-release. With this system, spacing is locked in via a floating sleeve, allowing repeated front wheel removal and reinstallation while maintaining perfect fork alignment. Floating sleeve positioning comes preset from the factory so if you are unsure of how to operate the floating axle system or simply don’t want to bother with it, you can just install the front wheel and get on with your ride. Lower Leg Bypass Channels: As a fork compresses, the air volume within the lower legs decreases, increasing air pressure. The more the fork compresses, the more pressure increases. This effect can have the unintended consequence of preventing full travel from being achieved. Fox Suspension's lower leg channels help alleviate this issue by dramatically increasing air volume within the lower legs and thereby reducing the amount of additional unintended pressure ramping. Another benefit of these channels is that lower leg bath oil is circulated to the upper reaches of the lower legs, continuously lubricating the foam rings and bushings as the fork compresses and extends through its travel. Bleeders: Fox Suspension's lower leg bleeders allow for atmospheric pressure equalization at the simple press of a button. Pressure build-up in the lower legs dramatically decreases fork performance, preventing full travel from being achieved, and diminishing small bump sensitivity and responsiveness. Lower Leg Arch: Stiffness-to-weight is the ultimate metric for bicycle design. Engineers invest countless hours poring over every ounce of material in an effort to optimize this critical ratio. Fox Suspension's all-new lower leg design pulls out all the stops, shaving every possible gram while making sure not to compromise stiffness or strength requirements of modern enduro and gravity style riding. Modern frame designs and geometry trends require modern suspension design solutions. The arch design of the all-new 36, 38, and 40 is designed to pair perfectly with modern Enduro and Downhill bikes. Head tube profiles have grown larger and larger, and fork offsets shorter and shorter. Fox Suspension's new arch shape takes this need into account by jutting forward to provide ample headtube clearance at full compression. State-of-the-art computer modeling techniques helped us to create an organic lower leg shape that optimizes stiffness with the absolute minimal amount of material. Elliptical Steerer: The 38’s elliptical steer tube is one of many ways we’ve further optimized stiffness-to-weight, placing more material only where it is needed, and eliminating every ounce of it where it’s not. This versatile mountain bike (MTB) fork features a hard-wearing straight wall aluminium leg construction, which allows it to handle all of the intensity that's associated with training and competing. Coming equipped with an Expert Air spring, VTT compression damping and In-leg adjustable TPC rebound damping, this model allows riders to dial in their ideal riding preferences to match their style or the terrain conditions. Its adjustable air, rebound and three-position compression (Open, Trail and Lock), means that you'll enjoy a more rider-tuned feel with increased performance and reliability, as you tackle every off-road challenge that comes your way. Expert Air Spring This trail-ready model features the Manitou Expert Air spring system, which contains a unique balancing valve that equalises the positive and negative air chambers during the air fill process. This gives the spring rate a consistent feel without any flat or dead spots in the stroke, along with giving riders of different weights the same initial stroke feel. Variable Terrain Tune - 3-Position Compression Adjust When developing the VTT Pro damper, Manitou set out with a goal to maintain a rock-solid lockout without compromising the open and mid settings. The downside to many dampers with firm lockout modes is that in any other position than lock-out you will reach some critical shaft velocity that chokes off the low-speed flow path. When this happens the damper peaks at nearly the same lock-out force as the locked-out position. This translates to harsh force in the hands and possibly lack of control. The goal with VTT is to eliminate that high-speed spike while maintaining the lock-out force demanded by most XC users. This allows the fork to have a less progressive high-speed response while maintaining some low-speed support. This is achieved through independent shim stacks (one for Lockout, one for the other two positions). By controlling the shim stack through which the oil flow is diverted we can manipulate the characteristic of the damper to be Lock-out, Digressive, or progressive to meet the demands of the rider and terrain. Chassis When developing the chassis of this Manitou fork, the goal was to find the perfect balance of weight, stiffness, and reliability. Thanks to its Reverse Arch, Manitou is able to position the arch further away from the axle. The lower tyre clearance behind the fork relative to the centre of the axle allows for a shorter arch which yields 13% increased stiffness compared to a forward arch fork of the equivalent weight. Because of this, Manitou is able to use 32mm stanchions to save weight, while keeping stiffness closer to that of a larger stanchion fork with a forward-facing arch.
