White Lightning is an Edmonton based modern-rock trio who strives to make art that encapsulates the music, performance, and song writing that they love. White Lightning has generated a buzz that is attributed to their unique, entertaining live show, and their tight musicality. As a three piece band, White Lightning fills out it's sound as each member stretches the limitations of their solo instruments and creatively combines their skills to put their own signature White Lightning spin on the modern-rock sound. Fans describe their music as "catchy, well written, and creatively executed, leaving a lasting impression". White Lightning is also noted for their fast and inventive guitar riffs, solid bass and drum grooves, as well as strong three-part vocals. White Lightning was formed in 2007, when front man Steve Bosch (guitar/vocals) joined Enoch Rottier (drums/vocals) with a mission to create and share their music and their hearts with the world. After expanding their songwriting and refining their sound they welcomed Jason Grilo (bass/vocals) into the musical journey. The band has released two EP's receiving local and national radio-play, and just released their first full-length album. White Lightning's stunning live show has won them two band battles, and placed them 2nd out of 72 bands in Alberta's Last Band Standing. White Lightning has also had the privilege of playing with many other talented Canadian bands and is tireless in their love to perform, as well as their drive to work hard and put on an unforgettable, musical experience. White Lightning is also a group with a social conscious. They strive to use their music and unique personalities to help others, through benefit shows, partnering with causes and helping music lovers wherever they can.
