Il libro è una sorta di viaggio, dentro me stessa e dentro quel vuoto. Un viaggio che mi ha portato ad acquisire una grande consapevolezza, con la quale ad oggi sento di poter abitare diversamente il mondo e guardare con occhi nuovi alla vita.La consapevolezza che quel vuoto è pienezza e quell'assenza presenza costante che riempie la mia vita e le dà un senso. Una presenza che mi ha presa per mano e guidata verso le mie paure, mi ha aiutato a trovarmi faccia a faccia con esse e a capire che non bisogna accantonarle se le si vuole superare ma imparare innanzitutto a riconoscerle, accettarle per poi farci i conti ogni giorno, a conviverci sapendo di non essere la sola ad averle e soprattutto a non essere sola nell'affrontarle. Questa presenza è quella che ha fatto sì che io potessi spogliarmi di tutto, paure, giudizi e pregiudizi, lacrime per rivestirmi di speranza, gioia, sorrisi, vita e anche di amore, in primis per me stessa e poi verso gli altri.
