    Physical Graffiti - The Very Best Of Led Zeppelin - European Tour 2020
    Schon zahlreiche Bands haben versucht die Songs von Led Zeppelin so originalgetreu wie möglich wiederzugeben und zu interpretieren, doch nur wenige waren wirklich erfolgreich. Im Jahre 1997 änderte sich dies allerdings. Die Band Red Stuff, die hauptsächlich Songs aus den siebziger Jahren spielte, wurde von ihren Fans aufgefordert ihr Led Zeppelin Repertoire auszuweiten, was zur Gründung einer der wahrscheinlich besten Tribute-Bands - namens Physical Graffiti- führte. Der Name Physical Graffiti ist gleichzeitig Titel des 1975 erschienenen Albums von Led Zeppelin, wodurch ein direkter Bezug zur Originalband hergestellt wird, denn wenn dieses Stichwort fällt, weiß jeder Rockfan, was und vor allem wer gemeint ist. Letztere sind in gewisser Weise Vergangenheit, doch ihr musikalisches Erbe wird mit großem Stolz und Leidenschaft von Physical Graffiti am Leben erhalten. Jedes Bandmitglied weißt einen enormen musikalischen Background auf. Der englische und in Holland lebende Sänger Andrew Elt beispielsweise spielte bereits in Bands wie Gin On The Rocks, Sleeze Beez und tourt mit dem Gitarrenvirtuosen Walter Trout. Dort fungierte er zunächst als Tour- Manager, später stand er gemeinsam mit der Band auf der Bühne und gab sowohl sein gesangliches als auch instrumentales Können zum Besten. Generell ist Andrew Elt als ein sehr gefragter Sänger für Rocksessions, denn mit seiner Stimme vermag er die originären Tonlagen von Bands wie Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Guns N? Roses, AC/DC, Van Halen usw. verblüffend gut nachempfinden. Der irische Bassist Dave Harrold brachte sich das Gitarre spielen selbst bei, widmete sich jedoch relativ schnell dem Bass und stellte mit diesem sein Können in den holländischen Bands Re-Experience, Clemens V.D. Ven Band und Boerenleenband unter Beweis. Schließlich hat er noch die Mandoline in sein Repertoire aufgenommen, womit er seine Kollegen von Physical Graffiti bei einigen wundervollen Led Zeppelin Akustik- Nummern in typischer John Paul Jones-Manier begleitet. Der Gitarrist Daniel Verberk begann mit 11 Jahren mit diesem Instrument, arbeitete später als Backline-Techniker für Vengeance, war daraufhin Gitarrist in den Bands Heavy 70?s und The Moon und tourte seit 2006 als Stagemanager und Backline-Techniker für diverse internationale Acts. Jan Gabriel ist der Schlagzeuger von Physical Graffiti. Seit langer Zeit tourt er mit seiner Big Band durch die USA und Europa. Zudem unterstützt er u.a. Bands wie die Guano Apes auf der Bühne. Ferner ist er in unterschiedlichen klassischen Orchestern aktiv und als Lehrer betreut er das Projekt Band Apart, in dem Quentin Tarantino´s Filmmusik gespielt wird. Physical Graffiti zeigen auf der Bühne ihr großes künstlerisches Talent, indem sie gekonnt die Songs von Led Zeppelin interpretieren. Physical Graffiti rocken !
