"A thrilling page-turner about the pursuit of justice" (New York Post), this is the definitive story of the case against Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and the corrupt system that supported them, told in thrilling detail by the lawyer who has represented their victims for more than a decade. In June 2008, Florida-based victims' rights attorney Bradley J. Edwards was thirty-two years old and had just started his own law firm when a young woman named Courtney Wild came to see him. She told a shocking story of having been sexually coerced at the age of fourteen by a wealthy man in Palm Beach named Jeffrey Epstein. Edwards, who had never heard of Epstein, had no idea that this moment would change the course of his life. Over the next ten years, Edwards devoted himself to bringing Epstein to justice, and came close to losing everything in the process. Edwards tracked down and represented more than twenty of Epstein's victims, shined a light on his shadowy network of accomplices, including Ghislaine Maxwell, and uncovered the scope of his sexually exploitative organization, which reached into the highest levels of American society. In this "revelatory exploration of the long fight to bring a monstrous man to justice" (Kirkus Reviews, starred review), Edwards gives his riveting, blow-by-blow account of battling Epstein on behalf of his clients, and provides stunning details never shared before. Epstein and his cadre of high-priced lawyers were able to manipulate the FBI and the Justice Department, but despite making threats and attempting schemes straight out of a spy movie, Epstein couldn't stop Edwards, his small team of committed lawyers, and, most of all, the victims, who were dead-set on seeing their abuser finally put behind bars.

Artificial sun from fake windows on the cement wall shined down over Ella resting peacefully on the mattress. JJ walks into the room to find Ella laying on her side wearing only nano-laced panties — she had put these on earlier that morning just in case she would encounter J.F.  Her nanosuit is laying to the floor next to the bed with an empty bottle of wine rolled up next to it. Her petite body is half wrapped in a blanket covering her stomach and part of her breasts. They are ever so slightly draped with a semitransparent cloth that exposes the pink hue of her nipples. They are half peeking out at the edge of the blanket. JJ kneels down by her and pulls the blanket over her, covering her chest. He softly says “Ella, it is time to wake up darling.” Ella’s eyes slowly opened seeing this large bearded man hovering over her. She is slightly dazed about her location but quickly recalls where she is. She notices that the attire JJ is wearing is the same as the man she had seen standing behind the wooden door of Science Hall. She pulled back the blanket exposing her half naked body, feeling a cold gust against her chest making her nipples firm and erect. She has no shame of her body or if anyone looks at her in the buff. Most of her generation is like that. She then sticks her feet out of the bed, slipping her nanosuit back on. After she became a little more alert, her face flushes red, wondering how long JJ had been watching her. He says to her, “Don’t worry sweetie, it ain’t nothing I haven’t seen before.” She could see a slight bulge in his crotch area through his pants and could tell that he had been aroused by the situation. This makes her feel a little creeped out but also flattered, wondering if J.F. would have climbed into the bed with her.  ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Patrick Sitter. Where there is light, there will always be dark. Such powerful oppositions hold mystery in their own right. They inspire the imagination of consciousness, demanding investigation. Demarcation is the middle point. This space in time is exactly when and where we as souls engulfed bodies got to taste the ever so sweet and toxic sad emotions of a lifetime experience. Let us not forget that we did indeed come here to experience life and taste the bad so we can learn to truly appreciate and cherish the good. This story is one in a million. There are so many great literary works of art out there, but there is always room for another. Those precious few that were so incredibly gifted and inspiring did come forward because of experiencing great loss, regret and sadness. Something about a broken heart creates the potential for greatness in the minds of those who can be humble and disciplined in the attempt to conquer one's untamed self. Long ago Man was barely off the bottom of The Food Chain. Scared for his life and cold. Aside from a brain that is eager to improve and learn, the human body is very soft and fragile. Humans mouth is small and the fingernails hardly compare to those fearsome claws of a man eating predator. If a man was to survive, evolving and growing was vital and necessary. There have been great advancements and tools since the first club or sharp stick and flint knife. There is no question that the harnessing of fire helped man greatly in the hunt or be hunted by laws of the wild. Even more mysterious than the hot glow of a fire, is the way that man found a companion in the aggressive mountains and woods that could have only been sent by the divine. For there was a love capable and trustworthy body, sniffing and roaming the wilderness looking for a friend. A law driven pack hunter known as Akela, k-9, Wolf, and Dog. A strange and unusual pair that together changed their position in that dark, death defying good chain forever. Man and Dog became dependent on one another. One's ability to think with purpose and grace. And the other to be driven by honest basic animal instincts. To smell the earth for remaining scent and to chase through thick sharp forest for hours to catch its prey. Dogs act on pure instinct without political awareness. Man and his new best friend enhanced one another's life back in a much simpler and yet dangerous time, and still rely on each other today. This story, a Life of Red, begins at one holy moment in time in a heavenly place among the clouds. In particular, one who was being sent to earth to receive a healthy body and fulfill a mission and destiny. Before departing heaven to be born he was gracefully addressed and appreciated for his hearts' strength and love in its purest form. This dog was being sent to save the darkness consumed spirit of a young man who was without hope or light. The holy soul of the dog angel slowly descended away from the incredible bright light as darkness consumed that of the eye. Perception shifted, as a silent moment in time passed and the dim light shined strong and there was a breath of life.

The name 'Desert Lights' was inspired by my life in El Paso, Texas. It is the soundtrack to my most precious memories and experiences and each song is a representation of the emotions i felt inside. The cover of the album illustrates a piano in the middle of the desert which is a representation of my life in El Paso. The desert being El Paso and the piano being my passion. The moon is on the top, right hand side of the cover which represents the moonlight that shined through my window at night, the view was an inspiration for the song 'Desert Lights'. The album starts with 'Jade', which was my first 'real' composition. The inspiration behind the song was how I felt about a girl at the age of 16. The song starts with a slow, heavy chord which is how I felt when I would see her day after day in school and not be able to tell her how I felt for fear she would stop talking to me. She made it clear that I was her friend and it was staying that way, but my young heart felt otherwise. The second song on the album, 'My Family', is my father's favorite. This song I wrote in high school as well and I dedicated this song to my family because one's family is the most important thing in life. My family has always supported my goals and ideas which is the theme of the song. 'Midnight' is a song that took me two years to complete. This song has many inspirations including the beautiful view of El Paso's city lights from the mountains at night. This song is also inspired by my young days when I lived in Morenci, Arizona. As a young child I did not have many friends and the feeling of loneliness and anger is one that is sometimes tough to forget. For some reason i was only able to compose this piece late at night, which is why I decided on the name 'Midnight'. Number four of the album seems to be a favorite for many. 'Angel' was composed in 2009 and is the theme of someone in my past who I shared my heart with. Some things just weren't meant to be. In 1998 I composed a song that represented my passion for music. The first time i heard my aunt play the piano, something inside me clicked. I instantly knew that music was for me. '1998' was inspired by the day my aunt played 'Ballade Pour Adeline' the first time. The next song is 'Pictures on the Floor'. This songs represents a strange memory that I have when I was very young. I don't know how I still have this memory, but I remember sitting on the floor and in front of me were pictures of my family. I don't remember how old I was, but I do know that I was too young to walk. As I said, strange memory, but the song represents the sound of my young mind's fascination with the pictures. I started composing number 8, 'Desert Lights', in 2009 in El Paso and finished it in 2011 in Jacksonville, FL, where I live now. This song was inspired by all the memories I have of El Paso. When i first learned that I would be moving to Jacksonville, a bittersweet feeling overwhelmed me. I thought about my family and friends that I would leave behind and of the future Jacksonville had for me. The lengthy drive to Jacksonville was a great inspiration for this song. The last song on the album, 'Cananea' is named after the street I lived on. The saxophone in the song represents the memories I made when I was young and the piano represents the times when I was older. Desert Lights is the soundtrack to my life.
