Deshalb wurde Paul Ritch 2009 von Beatport als bester Techno-Künstler nominiert. Heute gilt der in Paris wohnende Ritch weltweit als einer der angesehensten Künstler und Produzenten in der elektronischen Musik. Paul ist auch einer der Helden der diesjährigen Cocoon Ibiza Residency Cocoon Heroes. Er spielt sowohl bei der Grand Closing Party als auch auf Formentera, wo Cocoon eine weitere, kleinere Residency im Tipic Club hat. Sein Live-Set auf dem Green Floor beim Green & Blue Open Air - das deutschlandweit eines der prestigeträchtigsten Festivals der elektronischen Musik ist - wird aufgenommen und auf einer Einzel-CD veröffentlicht, ganz im Gegensatz zu den früheren Ausgaben der Green-&-Blue-CDs, die immer Doppel-CDs mit DJ-Mixen waren. Till 2003 the project belonged to the underground and obscure italo disco acts, which recorded only a few tracks back in the 80s and disappeared. But the members of DYVA remained active on music scene as producers and composers, having numerous hits created for other artists in last 2 decades. In 2003 Dyva meets Kimmo Salo, who convinces the band to reactivate and release the old tunes on vinyls. This is how a new chapter in DYVA story starts. From now on the band would re-record a lot of previously unreleased tracks in 80s italo disco style. The band thank Kimmo Salo's label - Flashback Records - becomes one of the most recognizable act of italo disco nowdays, releasing a couple of new twelve inches every year. This album is a collection of their recently recorded material, plus 2 previously unreleased on the first album original versions of their two tunes recorded back in the 80s. There are also 3 previously unreleased versions of their tunes included. The booklet contains detailed history of music career of DYVA and other projects by Roberto &, Massimo and personal memories of the band + previously unpublished photos. Ihr größter Hit in Deutschland war die 1982 veröffentlichte Single Happy Birthday. Clare Grogan verfolgte später ihre Schauspielkarriere und veröffentlichte Soloplatten, Gitarrist Johnny McElhone gründete1986 zusammen mit Sharleen Spiteri die Band Texas . Remastered and pressed on two 180g vinyls for this 2LP special edition. The bonus disc contains 6 tracks including the Extended versions of the singles Don t Talk To Me About Love and Bring Me Closer plus an alternative studio recording of Another Lost Look . Surprise Me , I Don t Want To Know and Thinking About You make up the final 3 songs on the second disc. After the success of the bands previous two albums Happy Birthday and Pinky Blue , Bite saw a change in musical direction. Gone was the earlier post punk sound and now the songs were becoming far more polished with a pure pop pedigree. To that end Mike Chapman and Tony Visconti were brought in to produce the album. Mike Chapman had produced Blondie s Parallel Lines album and Tony Visconti had been working with David Bowie, so the duo s involvement was seem by many as a move to bring the band to the forefront of the post punk 80 s pop scene. The band also underwent some personnel changes with Stephen Lironi joining the band as drummer. The album spawned one of the bands biggest hits in Don t Talk To Me About Love which reached No7 in the UK chart. But subsequent singles Love To Stay and Change Of Heart failed to make an impact and a decline in success followed with each release. Following on from the tour to support the albums release the band sadly disbanded. The album still contains many highlights and although mired as the bands unfitting final release it is still heralded by many fans as a great pop album. Clare Grogan has appeared in numerous TV and films roles, most famously Gregory s Girl and the cult TV Series Red Dwarf in a role she created for herself as Kristine Kochanski. TRACKS: Side 1 1. Das Album erscheint physisch in einer 2CD-Deluxe-Version mit 24 Tracks, sowie einer Super-Deluxe-Box inklusive Doppel-CD und einem mehr als 60seitigen Fotobuch. Die Standard CD enthält insgesamt 12 Tracks und entspricht der ersten CD des Doppelalbums. Auf Teil 1 findet man "klassischen" Parov Stelar Sound, geprägt vom Rauschen und Knistern alten Vinyls und zusammengesetzt aus Samples aus verschiedenen Epochen. Im Gegensatz zur vorrangig elektronischen Produktion des ersten Teils wurden für die weiteren 11 Titel auf "The Demon Diaries" viele Instrumente live aufgenommen. Night Runner ist ein mexikanisches Retrowave / Synthwave-Projekt, beeinflusst von 80er Elektronik, Synthiepop und Rock. Night Runner is a Mexican retrowave/synthwave project consisting of Alex Diosdado and Tabique Malévolo. They started in 2014 with their debut album Starfighter. Their music is influenced by '80s electronic synths and rock which can be easily heard on the newest Thunderbird album. Released digitally in 2017 the material already gained a huge fan base and review support to immediately stand out from the crowd.
