Seid Mitte der 80er ist Chris mit eigener Band auf Tour, übernimmt jedoch immer wieder gerne Gastangebote bei anderen Formationen an ? u.a. bei Van Morrison, den R&B Allstars & der Hamburg Blues Band mit Bandkumpel Clem Clempson. 1994 war Chris Farlowe Teil des groß angelegten Colosseum Comebacks bis zum Abschiedskonzert der Supergroup um Jon Hiseman im Februar 2015 im legendären Shepherd ?s Bush Empire in London. Als R&B Entertainer alter Schule versteht er es wie kein anderer Delta, Opera & New Orleans Scatgesang zu kombinieren.Namen wie Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter, Rory Gallagher oder auch Pete Townsend fallen, wenn von dem erst 26 Jahre alten Krissy Matthews die Rede ist.
