    Hawaii based songwriter/producer Lance Jyo's follow up to 2009's LA Honolulu Tokyo Re-visited CD. Pacific Rendezvous (Import) available for the first time out of Japan in it's original double disc format, once again brings together a stellar group of musicians from LA, Nashville, Hawaii and Japan.......a true international effort. Disc one titled 'Mauka-Mountainside) features 11 brand new originals. The lead single, 'The Best Is Yet To Come' written to commemorate Cool Sound Records 13th Anniversary features Jay Graydon & Bruce Gaitsch on guitars and three talented Japanese vocalists, Kazutaka Ishii, Tetsuji Hayashi and Fukutomi Hideaki. Pacific Rendezvous also features Jyo's collaboration with German musician/producer Joerg Alfter on four tracks, 'Tantalus 7 p.m.', 'Falling', 'If I Could' and 'Marina'. The latter featuring At Second Glance alumni Galen Takushi on English/Japanese vocals. Takushi also contributes vocals on 'Tropic Paradise.' Lending haunting vocals on 'All My Life' and 'Crazy About You' is Maurice Bega. Most notable for his work with Hawaii AOR groups Kalapana and Mackey Feary & Nitelife. Jeff Pescetto and Michael Ruff both return as well to contribute vocals on 'I Need Your Love' and 'Forever Love' respectively. On rhythm programming and keyboards once again is LA producer/musician Raul Ferrando. Mauka finishes up with Jyo taking lead duties on the ballad 'Anna'. Disc two titled 'Makai-Seaside' features 11 reworked originals. Essentially, a careful selection of Jyo's favorite tracks from the past. Featured on tracks such as 'I Believe In You', 'Only For You', 'Believe In Me' is local Honolulu musician/producer Jon Basebase. 'Finally Found A Home' & 'Lover's Vows' feature both Bruce Gaitsch and Michael Ruff respectively on guitar, keyboard and vocals. Filled with smooth grooves and mired in Westcoast adult oriented rock (AOR), Pacific Rendezvous (Import) continues to deliver feel good music.
