    Finster, intensiv und unglaublich tanzbar: Das Dark-Electronic-Duo Boy Harsher kombiniert düstere Dance-Beats mit ätherisch anmutenden Vocals. Gegründet 2013, damals noch unter dem Namen Teen Dreamz, basierte das Projekt der beiden Filmstudenten Augustus Muller und Jae Matthews ursprünglich auf Kurzgeschichten von Matthews?, die er vortrug, während Muller sie live vertonte. Mit der Zeit wurden die Instrumentals immer tanzbarer und Matthews Art vorzutragen immer spontaner. Im Januar 2014 benannten sich Teen Dreamz dann in Boy Harsher um. Zuletzt veröffentlichten die beiden eine Extended Version ihrer EP ?Lesser Man? auf der Minimal-Beats und kreischenden Synthesizern sich mit Flüstern, Schreien und Sprechgesang zu einer mitreißenden Mischung zwischen EBM und Drone verschmelzen. Und auch die Wurzeln in der Filmindustrie merkt man ihrer cineastischen Herangehensweise an die Musik ebenso wie ihren Live-Performances noch heute deutlich an.
