Das Inhalieren des Nikotins lindert Rauchverlangen und andere Symptome, die beim Aufhören mit dem Rauchen auftreten können, wie zum Beispiel innere Unruhe, gesteigerter Appetit oder erhöhte Reizbarkeit. Der Inhaler entwickelt bei der Anwendung keinen Dampf oder Geruch und kann so auch in geschlossenen Räumen, auf Flügen oder in öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln verwendet werden. Die Packung enthält ein Mundstück mit 20 Patronen, die jeweils 15 mg Nikotin enthalten. Damit können Sie bis zu 140 Zigaretten ersetzen. Die Nikotinersatztherapie mit dem nicorette® Inhaler Aus den Patronen wird durch Ziehen am Inhaler das Nikotin gelöst und über die Mund- und Rachenschleimhaut aufgenommen. Von dort gelangt das Nikotin in die Blutbahn und erhöht den Nikotinspiegel im Blut. Rauchverlangen und andere Entzugssymptome können so gelindert werden. Die Anwendung wird für 12 Wochen empfohlen, wobei Sie die tägliche Nikotinzufuhr schrittweise auf 0 reduzieren. Während der gesamten Anwendung wird nur therapeutisches Nikotin aufgenommen und alle Schadstoffe, die in Zigaretten enthalten sind, werden ab Tag 1 vermieden. Die Anwendung des nicorette® Inhalers Der Inhaler imitiert in der Anwendung die Hand-zu-Mund Bewegung beim Rauchen einer Zigarette. Nach dem Einlegen der Patronen in das Mundstück können Sie an dem Mundstück saugen und so Nikotin freisetzen. Pro Zug wird weniger Nikotin aufgenommen als bei einer Zigarette. Ziehen Sie deshalb etwa 8- bis 10-mal häufiger am nicorette® Inhaler als Sie es an einer Zigarette tun würden. Eine Anwendung dauert ca. 20 Minuten. Die Dosierung ist individuell und orientiert sich am vorherigen Rauchverhalten des Konsumenten. Eine Patrone kann (bei Raumtemperatur) bis zu 7-mal angewendet werden und ersetzt bis zu 7 Zigaretten. Verwenden Sie bei vorherigem Konsum von bis zu 20 Zigaretten am Tag 3 - 4 Patronen pro Tag. Haben Sie mehr als 20 Zigaretten am Tag geraucht, verwenden Sie 4 - 6 Patronen pro Tag.
