How did it all begin? That depends on where you were and who you ask. In some places it started with the weather-which quickly became unstable and began behaving in impossible ways. In still others it started with the lights in the sky, which shifted and pulsed and could not be explained. Elsewhere it started with the disappearances: one here, a few there, but increasing in occurrence until fully three quarters of the population had vanished. Either way, there is one thing on which everyone agrees-it didn't take long for the prehistoric flora and fauna to start showing up (often appearing right where someone was standing, in which case the two were fused, spliced, amalgamated). Each original piece composed by Nizar Tabcharani possesses a considerable music background that introduces exciting new and original style with special arrangements for the Lute (Oud), Kanoun (Qanun), Riq, Darbouka and other oriental percussions, drums, bass, saxophone, flute and guitar. The main instruments of this album are the traditional ones that still unknown, within the most faithful framework to their historical portrait. Indeed, the challenge to take up is to prove the versatility of these instruments and the possibility of playing several styles of which, Jazz, world, acoustic and the traditional one in addition to the Eastern traditional music. Amalgamated Artistry is a concept studio group consisting of Producer 'Mr Oldshirts' & vocalist 'K-Tron'. In addition, Amalgamated Artistry incorporates the talents & skills of fellow musicians & producers from a range of backgrounds with a variety of musical understandings. The music draws from a number of different genres using a wide variety of sounds both analog & non-organic, collected & self-recorded at a home-based studio in Adelaide. The music has also been designed to be replicated in a live format. However, to this point the main focus of Amalgamated Artistry has been centered around developing the right mix of sounds within the studio. Amalgamated artistry has previously been featured in the 'Artist Spotlight' section of the triple J (Australia's main alternative youth radio station) 'unearthed' website & received jjj airplay for the song 'Just Wanted' in 2008. In addition to regular rotation on community radio stations Australia-wide . 'Robosapien' is Amalgamated Artistry's first official release after a two year recording period. The songs are both diverse and mature, with catchy melodies composed by Mr. Old Shirts complimented by the powerful harmonised lyrical stylings of seasoned professional vocalist 'K-Tron'.
