The Bewitched Tailor , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 363min
At the end of the 19th century, Jewish writers began writing in Yiddish and creating for the first time popular literature that brought alive the small dramas, struggles, and joys of ordinary life. Sholem Aleichem was one of the very few modern writers who spoke for an entire people. This collection of stories includes the title piece and seven other tales. "Wherefore a novel, when life itself is a novel?" This epigraph to Sholom Aleikhem's autobiographical narrative From the Fair could be used for everything that came from the pen of that gifted Jewish writer: Sholom Aleikhem's characters tell their own story. The Kasrils - inhabitants of Kasilovka - as the writer affectionately calls them, appear before the listener in all their direct and artless simplicity. They wear their hearts upon their sleeves. The very pen-name of the author (Sholom Aleikhem means "peace be upon you") serves him, as it were, as a kindly greeting to his people, encouraging them to "Speak for yourselves. Show yourselves to the world." This collection contains:"A Love Affair""Three Widows""The Bewitched Tailor""If I Were a Rothchild""The Pot""Advice""Kodno""Methuselah" ungekürzt. Language: English. Pandemic History: From Plague to Spanish Flu Since Today. The Most Complete Description of the Deadlist Epidemics That Shook Our Society and How They Changed the World and the Way We Live in It , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 276min
Are you looking for a complete history on the pandemic? Then keep reading...A pandemic is transmittable disease that can significantly boost morbidity and death over a vast geographical area and also trigger considerable financial, social, and even political interruption. Evidence recommends that the probability of pandemics has enhanced over the past century due to increased global traveling and even combination, urbanization, changes in land use, and also better exploitation of the native environment. These trends likely will continue and also will intensify.Considerable policy focus has focused on the need to recognize as well as limit emerging breakouts that could lead to pandemics and to increase and maintain financial investment to build preparedness as well as wellness capacity. Despite these enhancements, substantial voids and challenges exist in global pandemic readiness. Progress toward satisfying the IHR has been uneven, and many nations have been not able to meet fundamental requirements for conformity.Multiple outbreaks have subjected gaps about the prompt discovery of the disease, accessibility of standard care, tracing of contacts, quarantine, as well as readiness outside the health and wellness sector, including international control and response mobilization. These spaces are particularly evident in resource-limited settings and have presented difficulties throughout reasonably localized epidemics, with dangerous effects wherefore may happen throughout a global pandemic. For this phase, an epidemic is "the incident in a community or region of instances of a health problem over normal expectations". A pandemic is specified as "an epidemic taking place over a substantial location, crossing global limits, and also usually affecting a large number of individuals".Pandemics are, therefore, recognized by their geographical range rather than the intensity of ailment. Thought Vibration , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 132min
The universe is governed by law - one great law. Its manifestations are multiform, but viewed from the ultimate there is but one law. We are familiar with some of its manifestations, but are almost totally ignorant of certain others. Still we are learning a little more every day - the veil is being gradually lifted. We speak learnedly of the law of gravitation, but ignore that equally wonderful manifestation, the law of attraction in the thought world. We are familiar with that wonderful manifestation of law which draws and holds together the atoms of which matter is composed - we recognize the power of the law that attracts bodies to the earth, that holds the circling worlds in their places, but we close our eyes to the mighty law that draws to us the things we desire or fear, that makes or mars our lives. When we come to see that thought is a force - a manifestation of energy - having a magnet-like power of attraction, we will begin to understand the why and wherefore of many things that have heretofore seemed dark to us. There is no study that will so well repay the student for his time and trouble as the study of the workings of this mighty law of the world of thought - the law of attraction. When we think we send out vibrations of a fine ethereal substance, which are as real as the vibrations manifesting light, heat, electricity, magnetism. That these vibrations are not evident to our five senses is no proof that they do not exist. A powerful magnet will send out vibrations and exert a force sufficient to attract to itself a piece of steel weighing 100 pounds, but we can neither see, taste, smell, hear nor feel the mighty force. ungekürzt. Yah's Consuming Fire , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 16min
The Most High's nature is essentially that of a consuming fire, according to the scriptures. Right from the start, the listener will visit the scriptures as the true nature of Yahuah is shown. In Exodus 13:21, for example, it says, "And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:" Fire is very intense; frighting on the one hand and very attractive on the other. People are drawn to fire. But why is the Most High compared to fire in the scriptures? In Genesis 15, he appears as a blazing lamp, and in Exodus 13, he appeared as a burning bush. Exodus 19:24 Yahuah on Mount Sinai appeared as a consuming fire; devouring fire. Also, in Exodus 40 by day, a pillar of a cloud of smoke and by night, a pillar of fire over the tabernacle. Why fire? Look at Leviticus 9 and the beginning of Leviticus 10, Yahuah consumes the sacrifices with fire. He also consumes Arron's disobedient sons with fire. Then in Deuteronomy 4:24 Yahuah is actually called the devouring fire/consuming fire and that is also quoted in Hebrews 12:29. Let us take a quick look at this verse starting a verse 28-29. It says, "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:" Verse 29, "For our God is a consuming fire." The same picture of Yahuah in the New Testament. "For our Yahuah is a consuming fire." Why this association with Fire? In Judges, Yahuah appears in a fire as the fire of sacrifices, in 1 Kings 18, Elijah prays, "Let the Yahuah that answers by fire be Yah." It is over and over. In Ezekiel, the first chapter Yahuah appears, and these chariots of fire that are there and in Ezekiel 8 the Angel of the Most High is on fire as he comes out of the presence of the Elohim that is on fire. In Daniel 7, there is a river of fire that goes out from before the Most High. Malachi ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Miguel L. Conner.
