Munutu Terra is a fantasy fiction novel about a civilization that collectively worships a deity called Munutu Terra. The Munutu Terrans live in a walled city of the same name, governed by the nepotistic rulership of Adam and Eve, genetic replications of the original descendants of Munutu Terra. Every year, all inhabitants of the age of 26 are sent beyond the city walls for the first time in a customary ritual called the Search, in order to experience life outside of the city’s (and deity’s) protection and, thereby, come to appreciate its self-sustaining importance when they gratefully return. Judas and Lucas set out on the Search amongst the others who have come of age, and in the course of their travels, they are abducted by the Caverna Vitae, a religious schism that broke off from the Munutu Terrans hundreds of years ago in order to live by their own beliefs in underground caves. Amongst the Caverna Vitae, Judas learns that the citizens of Munutu Terra have been secretly controlled by their government through implanted brain chips, and that he himself is a genetic replicantion of Adam and has been designated as the next ruler. Judas and Lucas quickly become embroiled in the Caverna Vitae’s schemes for revenge, Adam and Eve’s secret enterprise of rule by mind manipulation, and their own emerging and competing visions of the most virtuous way of governing a nation - through hereditary monarchy or elected democracy - each venture proving to have its very own brand of trials, tribulations, sacrifices, and betrayals. ungekürzt. The taboo. The secret. The discipline The nanny. Finally, her story. When street urchin Georgiana Hayes meets a mysterious gentleman who offers her a warm meal and a chance to get warm again, she cannot resist. The man who has rescued her from the cold is, in fact, Mr. Philip Hartley; headmaster of the Ashby Chateau - a finishing school, and a place where young ladies can learn to submit and rediscover their inner 'little' selves. He is looking for a new nanny, and is quick to offer the position to Georgiana. Georgiana accepts gratefully, and she instantly becomes The Nanny. Unfortunately, she soon realizes that she is not really cut out for the role of disciplinarian. If anything, she finds herself beginning to envy the girls under her care, and wishes that she, too, could experience what it would be like to be little; to be cherished, cared for, and loved. Theodore Elliott, a well-established businessman, is seeking a wife, and has craved the special love and affection of a 'little' for as long as he can remember. The moment he sets eyes on Nanny Giana, he knows without a doubt that she is the one he has been searching for. No other little at the school can compare to the dark-haired beauty. Can Theo convince the headmaster to allow Giana to resign from her position as governess and enroll in the Ashby Chateau as a little? More importantly, is Giana willing to take that step for a man she barely knows but is intrigued by? Can she surrender herself physically, emotionally, and sexually in order to become what Theo desires above all else: his little Gia? ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Andrew Ellis. Not finding the safe haven she expects, Olivia is caught off guard by her feelings for Ridley Adam Cooper, a man who seems anything but a Southern gentleman.Branded a traitor by some, Ridley Cooper, a Southern son who chose to fight for the Union, is a man desperate to end the war still raging inside him. Determined to learn “the gift” that Belle Meade's head horse trainer and former slave, Bob Green, possesses, Ridley harbors secrets that threaten both their lives. As Ridley seeks to make peace within himself for fighting against the South he loved, Olivia is determined to never be betrayed again.Praise for Tamera Alexander:“To Whisper Her Name has everything a fine historical novel needs: characters we truly care about, struggles that really matter, splashes of humor to engage us, and period details that bring the past to vibrant life. Watching them unpack those memories and make room for the Lord’s cleansing touch is pure reading pleasure.” (Liz Curtis Higgs, New York Times best-selling author)“Rich in history, romance, and human drama, To Whisper Her Name is a book to be savored, like a sumptuous Southern banquet. Real life cuckoldress Raven Merlot is proud to present two of her cuckolding series in one exciting package! Included in this audiobook are Raven Merlot's second and third cuckolding series. Cuckolds in Paradise: "Eden Redux" is a tropical swingers resort where people come to make their most forbidden fantasies come true. Kate and Eli came to fulfill their long held dream of getting knocked up, and they'll get help from every man on the island before they are done. In their sexual relationship, Kate is the boss. She has no qualms about lining up men to give her pleasure while her husband watches, encouraging them and telling her how much he loves her. Jesse and Danielle arrived at the resort not knowing what to expect. They were curious but never expected to meet a couple like Kate and Eli, let alone be inspired by them. Cuckolding My Billionaire Husband: John is like every other billionaire. He's arrogant and entitled. He even thinks he can cheat on his wife. When she finds out she turns the tables on him and forces him become her cuckolded slave. He learns to anticipate her every desire and willingly abandon his pride for his wife's lusts for other men. Included in these series are multiple encounters between insatiably dominant women and men who are NOT their husbands. The unexplainable feelings of awkward, aroused inadequacy permeate the now cuckolded husbands who have no choice but to abandon their egos and their wives' bodies to the lusts and rough treatment of strange men. As with Raven Merlot's first series, My Husband, My Cuckold, these books do more than just describe graphic sex between married women and men who are not their husbands. They also focus on the feelings that the cuckolded men experience as they watch their wives receive previously unimaginable amounts of pleasure from young, single men who gratefully worship a woman's body. ungekürzt. What doesn't kill you sometimes makes you wish it had.... Priddy's a lost soul in a part of Cornwall the tourists don't get to see. He's young, sweet-natured, and gorgeous, but that's not enough to achieve escape velocity from his deadbeat village and rotten family life. He's a drifter and a dreamer, and self-preservation isn't his strong suit. An accidental overdose of a nightclub drug leaves him fractured, hallucinating, with too many vital circuits fried to function in a tough world. When a friend offers him winter work in a lighthouse - nothing to do but press the occasional button and keep the windows clean - he gratefully accepts. His plans to live quietly and stay out of trouble don't last very long. A ferocious Atlantic storm washes a stranger to Priddy's lonely shore. For a shipwrecked sailor, the new arrival seems very composed. He's also handsome as hell, debonair, and completely unconcerned by Priddy's dreadful past. Priddy has almost given up on the prospect of any kind of friendship, and a new boyfriend - let alone a six-foot beauty with eerily good swimming skills - out of the question entirely. But Merou seems to see undreamed-of promise in Priddy, and when they hit the water together, Priddy has to adapt to Merou's potentials too, and fast. His lover from the sea might be a mere mortal from the waist up, but south of that line.... Far-flung west Cornwall has 100 mermaid tales. Priddy's loved the stories all his life. Now he has to face up to a wildly impossible truth. Merou's life depends upon his courage and strength, and if Priddy can only find his way in the extraordinary world opening up all around him, all the ocean and a human lifetime needn't be enough to contain the love between merman and mortal. ungekürzt. “Raw. Honest. Truly captivating. Seemingly ordinary people, share an extraordinary journey in Cochrane’s seek and rescue mission where she finds a clearer understanding of self, others and circumstance. She shares this story with transparency while wrapped in humor and insightful intensity with her honest discoveries of who she is, and in some ways who we all are.” (Karen Callan, Author of Just In Time) In her 30s, Judy Cochrane had by most standards realized the American Dream. In 2000, her husband Bill’s start-up company sold for 90 million. Their college romance and tireless work ethic built a bright future for their family, as well as a portfolio of 35 million. But just as the stars aligned for the 90 million sale of their company, they also fell apart. They went from living in a gated home perched on a mountaintop in Tucson, Arizona, to life in a beat-up rental, without job security and on food stamps. With pressure at every turn: three young kids, a failing economy, health concerns, a troubled marriage, and the loss of everything the family had built, time alone and getting grounded seemed impossible. With what little faith she could muster, she sought for a miracle. It came in the form of an 11-day house-sitting opportunity in Santa Barbara, California. During Cochrane’s quest, her spiritual guides and new friends included a surfer-musician, a dying writing professor, an Episcopal minister, a gifted intuitive healer, a pair of tattoo artists, a septuagenarian yoga practitioner, a homeless preacher, a foul-mouthed auto mechanic, two dogs and a cat, and the Pacific Ocean. Since starting Eleven Days, she’s passionately and gratefully inspired to create more work. These are coming soon. Included are excerpts of J.C. Cochrane’s next books: Carry On: The secret language, lessons, and heart-wrenching love a family experiences when a child endures addiction (copyright 2015) You Crack Me Up: From broken ungekürzt. In the wake of yet another set of police killings of black men, Michael Eric Dyson wrote a tell-it-straight, no-holds-barred piece for the NYT on Sunday, July 7: "Death in Black and White" (it was updated within a day to acknowledge the killing of police officers in Dallas). The response has been overwhelming. Beyoncé and Isabel Wilkerson tweeted it; JJ Abrams, among many other prominent people, wrote him a long fan letter. The NYT closed the comments section after 2,500 responses, and Dyson has been on NPR, BBC, and CNN nonstop since then. Fifty years ago Malcolm X told a white woman who asked what she could do for the cause, "Nothing." Dyson believes he was wrong. In Tears We Cannot Stop, he responds to that question. If we are to make real racial progress, we must face difficult truths, including being honest about how black grievance has been ignored, dismissed, or discounted. As Dyson writes, "At birth you are given a pair of binoculars that see black life from a distance, never with the texture of intimacy. Those binoculars are privilege; they are status, regardless of your class. In fact the greatest privilege that exists is for white folk to get stopped by a cop and not end up dead.... The problem is you do not want to know anything different from what you think you know.... You think we have been handed everything because we fought your selfish insistence that the world, all of it - all its resources, all its riches, all its bounty, all its grace - should be yours first and foremost, and if there's anything left, why then we can have some, but only if we ask politely and behave gratefully." In the tradition of The Fire Next Time (Baldwin), short, emotional, literary, powerful, this is the book that all Americans who care about the current and long-burning crisis in race relations need to hear. ungekürzt.
