Repente has also equipped this version with a carbon shell and multi-section carbon rails for a fantastic balance of stiffness and strength while keeping the overall weight impressively reduced to only 130g. With a range of technologies including a central relief channel, this is a great choice of upgrade for increased comfort and support on every ride. The anatomical channel along the longitudinal axis helps to ease pressure on the prostate area improving comfort, especially on longer rides. Another advantage is that it follows the swinging movement of the pelvis during riding. Lateral bending is limited by the contrasting action of the carbon fibre bridge connecting the two sections of the shell. In order to maintain the supporting function of the nose Repente work with the highest quality of EVA foam padding and their research and experience allow them to judge perfectly the quantity of padding to avoid any rider discomfort. Please note: Make sure your seatpost clamp is suitable for 7x9mm rails. The Repente Aleena Saddle's carbon rails measure 7x9mm, so the seatpost clamp must accommodate this configuration.
