L'objectif principal de l'étude était d'améliorer la compréhension de la classification des sols par l'évaluation des propriétés micromorphologiques et minéralogiques des sols. L'horizon granitique de la surface était principalement constitué de miettes avec une microstructure en vogues et en canaux. De plus, la teneur élevée en argile complexifie l'humus et réduit ainsi sa capacité à se déplacer vers le bas dans les profils. L'analyse devrait permettre de faire la lumière sur les microbrafics et les travaux seraient utiles aux micropédologues.
