He must save the four Dryad sisters. Starting with Ogina in the East, he haphazardly begins his journey on the Long Road East, only to realize that the game is starting to affect his real life.He manages to come out of many dangerous situations unscathed; happily switching between two worlds, making new friends and facing foes along the way. However, Harry is also forced to pursue a real-life mission inside the game world that shows that the thin line between the two worlds is becoming much thinner. Action and adventure are hiding around every corner just waiting to be awakened. After Andrey Vasilyev's More Than a Game became an instant success with readers in Russia and worldwide, he continued developing the popular Fayroll series. According to many readers, The Road East, Vasilyev's second LitRPG novel, is every bit as good as his first, if not better. The Road East not only develops the virtual reality of Fayroll but also the real world parts of the story much more than the first novel. It’s not just about new assignments, new employers or even a new girlfriend. The depiction of the offline world is now on par with that of the gaming world - a rare find in LitRPG and Gamelit books./p Language: English. Narrator: Adrian Niro. Swing Shift: Book 2 , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 830min
Reports to write, forms to fill, coffee to drink, leads to run down. Gus’s life had been a tedium and boredom he’d grown comfortable with. One that he sought out after he’d come back from his tour of duty. That was before Melody, a contractor, more or less blew his life up as if it were a building packed full of C-4. Then she pranced around the ashes of it like it was the end of the world and was conjuring up the end times herself. All while breaking in a rookie by the name of Vanessa into the PID. A gung-ho and eager young detective looking to prove herself. Then commandeering and recruiting a cleaning lady who turned out to be an elven dryad sorceress who viewed killing people as little more than emptying the trash can.Gus had lived through it, though. Made it work for him and had come out of it without too many new scars. An adventure that he hadn’t wanted any part of...that involved the Fed being blown up, a stadium full of Paras all going into a feral rage, and breaking off a plot hatched by what felt like an organization that rivaled the Fed. Which apparently was all in a day’s work, right up until they fired you for doing that work because you made the brass look bad.Without a job, more people relying on him than ever, and no direction, Gus is going to have to put on his big boy pants and figure something out. And soon. It’s a good thing that he’s a boogieman. Because, being an apex predator that made the entirety of the paranormal world fear him was something he could fall back on. He could lean into it and make it work for him. He’d done it before when he was in the military. Made a name for himself out there in the bloody desert. He was "The Hunter". A name that the elven mothers now used to instill fear into misbehaving children. A name that grown men and women wouldn’t discuss in polite company. Except, despite Gus’s best intentions to get back to his stable nonlife, he’s going to get thrown right back into ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Andrea Parsneau. Dramatic Wizardry: Collected Plays (eBook, ePUB)
A magical key opens the way to the Rainbow Path, seven interdimensional lands with all sorts of bizarre and wonderful problems. This collection of six plays includes sequels and prequels of chocolate frogs and singing cats, fireflies, shape-shifting dolphins, and a phoenix-ex-machina. Originally written for The Imaginorium School of Theatrical Wizardry, an immersive theatre summer camp, by Headmistress Iris Imaginoria, these six plays are sure to take you on a journey there and back again. The plays were originally written and performed with students ages 8-15 but can be equally enjoyed by adults. With LGBTQA+ and neurodivergent themes, along with mythology from several cultures, these plays show that all are welcome on the Rainbow Path. The Plays: 1.Key to the Rainbow Path (2017): First, you will meet Iris Imaginoria, a young seeker of mystery and magic. Key to the Rainbow Path tells her "Coming of Age" story. It also opens the entire world of the Rainbow Path and introduces all interdimensional lands. If less is more, Iris wants more to be more, and that sometimes means that there are three actors playing Iris at the same time. 2.The Light of Joy (2018): The Light of Joy balances the twins Felix and Felicity, complete opposites, as they strive to create a luck charm and bring light back to the Land of Joy. Felix is highly superstitious, while Felicity rarely takes anything seriously, especially her brother. A group of Mythicals, which included an oversized Rabbit, a Dryad, a Naiad, a Leprechaun, a Ladybug, and a Flying Cat, lured them into this quest.Things are never quite what they appear. 3. Phoebe Phoenixfire and the Onethings (2019): For Phoebe, life is a never-ending series of choices, and she hates making choices. It especially frustrates her when her teacher, Ms. Asher, announces that fifth graders get to choose their own elective classes. Phoebe goes on a hunt through different activities she could try but does not feel like any of them fit... and some of them haunt her, turning into little feathered monsters. Will she ever find the "One thing" that makes her unique? Or could that be "something" else entirely? In Phoebe Phoenixfire and the Onethings we learn that if it isn't "One thing," it's often another. 4. The Frogpocalypse and the Chocolate Flies (Winter 2021): You can catch more frogs with flies than with honey. But you can catch more chocolate frogs with chocolate flies. That's what Wendy Windhorse learns in The Frogpocalypse and the Chocolate Flies. This prequel shows the advent of the Frogpocalypse in Cloud Country and the feud between Wendy Windhorse and Jackson Jumpingbean. 5. Captain Bob and the Dolphin Diaspora (Summer 2021): Captain Bob and the Dolphin Diaspora takes place in the prehistory of the Rainbow Path. Dionysus creates a "diaspora" of pirates, defined as the "involuntary dispersion of a group of people." The eight different pirates on the pirate ship Septimus want drastically different things. This story is based on an actual myth of Dionysus being taken prisoner by pirates and subsequently transforming them into dolphins. As the god of theatre and transformation, Dionysus is an interesting and powerful patron. This play especially highlights gender and pronoun problems. 6. The Cat-Tastrophe in the Land of Fire (Winter 2021): The final and most recent play in this collection, The Cat-Tastrophe in the Land of Fire, is the most immediate sequel to the book Imagine the Key. Iris's girlfriend, Amaya, goes on her own journey through all seven Rainbow Path lands. But her unintentional spell has some pretty big consequences.- Shop: buecher
