  Kokain Erzählung von Walter Rheiner, gelesen von Philipp Köhl. Als Walter Rheiner 1914 zum Kriegsdienst berufen wurde, nahm er erstmals Rauschmittel – er gab damit vor, drogensüchtig zu sein, um der Wehrpflicht zu entgehen. Trotz dieses Umstands wurde er eingezogen und mit Beginn des Ersten Weltkrieges an die russische Front beordert. Eine Entziehungskur scheiterte, sein Täuschungsversuch kam 1917 ans Licht, worauf er vom Dienst suspendiert wurde und nach Berlin übersiedelte. In der Spreestadt wurde Rheiner, den stets Geldsorgen plagten, zum literarischen Nomaden und fand zumeist bei Freunden oder in billigen Absteigen einen Unterschlupf. Viel Zeit verbrachte er bettelnd im "Romanischen Café", wo er mit bekannten Autoren wie Theodor Däubler, Salomo Friedlaender (Mynona), Claire und Iwan Goll, Walter Hasenclever, Else Lasker-Schüler, Oskar Loerke, Ludwig Meidner und René Schickele verkehrte. Zu dem Maler Conrad Felixmüller, der einige seiner Werke illustrierte, pflegte er eine besonders enge Freundschaft. Aus seinem anfänglich gemäßigten Drogenkonsum entwickelte sich jedoch mehr und mehr eine Sucht nach Kokain und Morphinen, die ihm letztendlich zum Verhängnis wurde. Das Rauschgift hatte Rheiner bald vollständig ruiniert. In einer armseligen Unterkunft in der Charlottenburger Kantstraße setzte er seinem Leben am 12. Juni 1925 im Alter von 30 Jahren mit einer Überdosis Morphin selbst ein Ende. (Wikipedia) Seine 1918 verfasste Novelle "Kokain" erlebte als einziges seiner Werke Nachauflagen. In dieser einfühlsamen Studie einer Kokainpsychose beschreibt Rheiner das Elend eines Drogensüchtigen, dessen Leben von Halluzinationen, einem immer stärker werdenden Drang nach Injektionen und der Angst, dass ihn sein Umfeld enttarnen würde, geprägt ist. Am Ende sieht der Protagonist keinen Ausweg mehr aus seiner Misere und begeht Suizid. Über den Sprecher: Philipp Köhl wurde 1980 in Berlin-Charlottenburg geboren. Nach seiner Ausbildung zum Mediengestalter Bild und Ton im bayerischen Grünwald studierte er Kommunikationswissenschaft an der LMU in München und Medienwissenschaft an der TU Berlin. 2001 schrieb er sein erstes Hörspiel "Auszeit", das er zusammen mit Freunden vertonte. Weitere Stücke folgten, z.B. "D@te" (2005) und "Der Tag, an dem das Bier verboten wurde..." (2010), die von Radiosendern in ganz Deutschland ausgestrahlt wurden. 2007 bis 2013 arbeitete er für den Bayerischen Rundfunk. Seitdem ist er sowohl vor als auch hinter dem Mikrofon tätig. Als Sounddesigner und Sprecher ist er an über 100 Hörspielen und Hörbüchern beteiligt (z.B. an "Die letzten Helden" und der Klassiker-Reihe der Holysoft Studios).
